Hi, you guys are playing pretty well, you certainly are a good band! Can I suggest going down a few tones on this song? This one and a few others seem to high for the singer. It's much better on the watchtower for example. Also, what setup did you use to record the sound? Just a central mike (which one)? Off a console? The bass comes out pretty good, although I find the drum is not evenly balanced (highs too lound compared to the bass drum). Keep playing!

Hi Nicolas, we used a PC laptop with Pro Tools via a MOTU 868 or whatever the model is interface. The mics were taken from thesend on the mixer and the rest were either miced and DI or DI from the amp as in my bass. The drums had two overhead mics and a kick drum mic which had too much spill from the PA to be useful. We will try a lower key next time thanks for that.

i disagree with Gretschcountryclub. Those beach boys notes are VERY hard to hit, this guys voice is a gift... this whole band is gifted... You guys sound great!! Rock on!!!
