I can't remember who the WBLS DJ was that came on right after the Legendary Frankie Crocker during the early 80's (maybe Vaugh Harper - another NYC radio legend and baller), but this was part of his nightly intro. Smooth

I was so crazy for this piece back in the day, and I might add that I am still crazy;it's one of my favories. I never did get it on wax, but a friend made me a couple of tapes which I lost track of because of other non jazz appreciating people messing with my collection. Well to make a long srory short I could not find it on wax anywhere, and finally a collector in the United Kingdom had, and I bought it for 50.00. Then a few years later it appears on you tube, and it is marked a favorite,
