Molleen Matsumura:
In my view, humanism relies on reason and compassion. Reason guides our attempt to understand the world about us. Both reason and compassion guide our efforts to apply that knowledge ethically, to understand other people, and have ethical relationships with other people.

@TurboDally It is ridiculous, stupid, and a sign of the idiocy of many people on the internet that this comment is marked as spam.

"Militancy of Dawkins". I am constantly amused by people who like to tout Dawkins as militant..I'll paste a quote, but sadly not from a movie :(
"In order to be called a militant atheist, all you have to do is write a book or have a blog. If you're religious and you want people to call you militant, you have to blow stuff up and shoot people."
-Martin Wagner
Dawkins/Hitchens want to take over the world and force you into the goulag you miserable believers! They will enslave your children!
