From brewery to bank

Wim Hekstra, deputy chief executive of ING Life in Hong Kong and Macau, is my guest on White Collar today. Hekstra oversees all sales channels for the life insurance business such as the company's agents, banks, brokers and independent advisers.

Interestingly, he only joined the insurance industry in February 2007. Before that, he was in the brewery business as head of Heineken's operations in Hong Kong and Macau.

In this programme, he provides an outlook for the business next year, and shares his views on the differences of working in such diverse industries.
