This looks awesome. I would love to do something like this only with an L-39 instead of a 172 (I am a avionics/maintenance technician on L-39s). I was actualy flying with my boss yesterday doing these very same procedures from KGAD to KRMG in a jet that I just finished a major avionics upgrade in.
That looks great...silly question which is kind of urelated, how did you get that view over the nose of the aircraft where you can see the compass and engine cowling? That's exactly what I am looking to do now I have built a MIP but cannot get it to look right. Any advice appreciated.
Almost fell off my chair when I saw this. Really impressive, very professional unit. I'm building a Cessna 172 Garmin 1000 using Earth LCD screens and Leo's boards. Really impressive stuff.
