  • Your so funny :) ! it makes me allways smile to watch you at work! Amazing! I cant wait to do all of the wonderfull totorials myself! Thank you! Greetings from germany, Marion

  • @susieqmcf Hahaha!! Thank you! Glad you found this one!! Can't wait to see what you do!

  • Omg!!! How did I miss this video until now!!!!!! This would also be cute out of scraps! Going over to your site to order circle cutter right now!!!! P.s. love your bracelet. ;)

  • @keeziedm2 They weren't that noticeable. Sheesh.

  • @Conniekristen Hello, the iron Mom uses in the video is just a cheap black and decker iron from Walmart. It is lighter than most of the expensive ones we've tried. It has since died, but you know for the price you can get several! :) Hope this helps.

  • Loved the quilt & I'm going together a circle template. I have one question, what brand is your black iron? I bought a pricey iron & it's so heavy that it dslocates my shoulder replacement. Can't fix that, but I coud replace the iron. Does your shop carry the one you use?that

  • @tara37830 i kinda figured but it seemed like it might of worked, i did not try it, im about to go see if my local craft shop sells them and a 45 degree ruler i thought i had one but i did not. so i am gonna just buy another one. thank you so much and i am gonna make a video of me making my quilt for youtube and the fourm.

  • @tara37830 Tara, that is not a dumb question! But, I would say NO! Please, oh please, don't use a box cutter. It is not anywhere near the same thing. (except for the blades are sharp, lol)

It is totally worth it to buy a rotary cutter. You will love it. and it helps accuracy and ease, when cutting fabric!

  • @tara37830 Also i have been Sewing since i was 5, and this will be my first real quilt and your videos have given me so many ideas and tips and tricks, Please keep up the good videos. ( and i am gonna try to do it on a machine instead of hand sewing everything, like i normally do, i am a bit nervous about the binding too.) Also, what cloth would you say goes great with the " Lost and found" Collection?

  • ok i have a dumb question, but as my parents would say " The only dumb question is the ones not asked" But I want to make a quilt for my crafty grandma for Christmas but i don't have the rotary cutter could i use a box cutter instead? The quilting shop i use to shop at for cloth closed down and wal mart does not sell it, I'm looking at your site for fabric but not sure if i should just bite the bullet and get one that i might use once or twice or try my box cutter.
