How To Jailbreak iPhone 3.0.1 Firmware

This works with the original iphone, iphone3G, and the iPhone 3GS

Summary(Read):
1. First download redsn0w
2. Then download the firmware for your iphone
3. Update your iPhone to 3.0.1 via itunes
4. Don't get confused because your downloading the 3.0 to use with redsn0w but make sure your iPhone has 3.0.1
5. Then open redsn0w and follow the intructions
6. To unlock add the ultrasnow source which is located below

i already have red snow and the right firmware and i follow all the steps but when you have to hold the power button and then both the power and home key and last the home key my screen stays black and it just says waiting for reboot!

i have already tried it like 27 times! any ideas?

Before u do that make sure ur phone is off. And then what you do is hold the buttons and just follow them correctly

turn ur device off and then u hold the power button and do all the other stuff and it should start.

i do everything and then it just keeps saying please wait while your device is being jailbroken and under it says waiting to reboot and it never reboots!

I Need Help ! i followed all the steps and i got redsn0w and the firmware but at the end when its jailbreacking it , it shows that its downloading the jailbreak data and when its done it doesnt show the pine apple it just shows the apple and takes me back to the recovery mode. What do i have to do!?
