@vinegarthomas and God doesn't pick favorites. but he won't always answer us right away, either; sometimes we're meant to make a leap of faith, because he can't guide our steps unless we're walking. and He won't always guide us. not to punish us and see us fail- but in hope that we will turn to Him, and in Him make our weaknesses into strengths.

@vinegarthomas it's not that we need a book or a saviour to be grateful. as enoyzark said, "I knew to be grateful for everyone in my life, everything I have, all that I dont have, and whatever lesson I have to learn by it". Now we know whom to be grateful towards, but that doesn't matter nearly as much as the fact that now we know who to turn to. because He knows us in entirety- he can literally empathize with every feeling we will ever have because he went through them for us.

Beautiful arrangment of the hymn and I was wondering does anyone else hear elements of "Homecoming" by Jon Schmidt in this peice?

But I believe that faith is the HOPE for the things not seen but are true! My testimony is my evidence! as I converted to the church al most a year ago, I prayed and talked to God, asked Him, and felt the light of Christ within me! thank you for being brave enough to ask! I hope one day you would want to hear my testimony! I'd happily share it with you! Just ask and we can talk!

Hi there! I couldn't hell but notice these comments

I would. It's a small world, I hope to meet you someday. I live in Oregon

@enoyzark Would you be willing to present your proof?
-
The fact that you continue searching is evidence to me, the same as it was for me when I didnt know what I was looking for. The years that I'd spent wondering aimlessly now seem like only a moment, now that I have a better understanding of the Big picture. If there wasnt anything to look forward to, then why are there so many people trying to do good still. It's the light of Christ that everyone has in them; some just refuse it. I have my proof, yours will come too

But why do you need a book or a saviour in order to be grateful for things? And what makes you think I have not asked for help in the past? You say that god answered you in a personal way. Why did he not do that for me? Either he plays favorites, which seems unfair, or your personal experience had nothing to do with any god(s). Unless you can offer evidence of the existence of a god, I have to opt for the second possibility. Who wouldn't?

I am a convert to Jesus Christ. There was a time that I didnt know what to believe, I only knew that I wanted to. I knew to be grateful for everyone in my life, everything I have, all that I dont have, and whatever lesson I have to learn by it. I asked God "If you are there, please help me to know, to have faith."
After All you can do, ask for help. He Did answer me, in a Very personal way.
I can see that you want to believe, that's why your here now.
the greatest man in history, named Jesus, had no servant, yet they called him master.had no degree, yet they called him teacher.Had no medicines, yet they called him healer. He had no army, yet he kings feared him.He won no military battles, yet he conquered the world. He committed no crime, yet they crucified him..he was...buried in a tomb, yet he lives today.

and nor are you going to change them. to each his own at least that is what i Believe, and they are not going to change you, i am not much of a believer in anything but you shouldn't go tell people that they're wrong. or one that is just rude to begin with. and two let's just all get along
