Is it completely sad if I can't even make it all the way up the neck before my middle and ring finger feel like they are about to fall off? My pinky and ring together is even worse! Also.. am I supposed to just keep going when my fingers are dying of pain? Or wait a few seconds then start again?

hi im working a lot with 4 tones per string legato runs. and i use the stretch between the 2nd and 3rd finger. i know its not so natural for the hand but do u think its dangerous? what can happen do you think? nice lesson btw

Thanks for the instructional vid! This will definitely give my fingers a workout!
This truly is a great lesson, so far it has helped me a lot, but I have one question about what you say at 3:35. Although my fingers don't go underneath the fretboard, in some cases it is really hard to keep them raised right where their frets are. It happens mostly when I do the combination of 2nd and 3rd fingers - the 1st and the 4rth fingers just seem to go as far as they can from the 2nd and 3rd. Do you have any tips? Or is it not a big deal? Hope my explanation isn't too confusing.

@YearsBecomeDays A lot of people have that problem naturally but if you take notice of it and try to retrain your fingers while practicing exercises like this it will straighten itself out pretty quickly usually. :)
