Douglas DAKOTA C-47 / DC-3 transport aircraft

This video features the famous Douglas DAKOTA twin engine civil and World War II military transport aircraft. In civilian service it was the Douglas DC-3. In U.S. military service with a strengthened floor and a cargo door the DC-3 was known as the Douglas C-47 Skytrain. Dakota was the name given to the Douglas C-47 in British and Commonwealth military service.
