I think I must have been about 16 - 17 at the time when I saw this movie for the first time. The special effects were cutting edge at the time. Later they made a seies from the film.

If only Logan's Run had been made in 78 or 79. after Star Wars when all the studios were throwing more money at Sci -Fi movies in hopes of the next big hit this might have been a little better realized (not that it was bad for its time though )

Looks like a new Logan's Run is in the works.. Directed by a Joseph Kosinski who has 2 directorial credits to his name according to imDB. Tron 2.0 and Logan;s Run.. sounds like possible disaster, hmmm? Well, remember the nay-sayers when Robert Downey, Jr was slated for Iron Man? I too rolled my eyes and sighed heavily that my hero was gonna be played by 'him'. However, the closer it got to release, the more forgiving I was.. and after, OH MAN!! BINGO!! Google: Joseph Kosinski.. you'll like

Creo que esta fue la mejor pelicula futurista filmada antes de Star Wars. Aqui en México se conoció como : "Fuga en el Siglo 23". Muy buena trama y efectos especiales. Segun recuerdo era un paraiso post-holocausto donde al cumplir los 30 años todos debian morir en el "Carrusel", pero Logan se niega enfrentar ese destino. Mucho de esto se retomó en la pelicula La Isla. El exito de esta pélicula obligo a crear una serie de tv. con el mismo nombre. Se las recomiendo!
