Awww I wish I could have seen it while it was here in Vegas. It kinda makes me sad seeing this video and how happy everyone was and how they all said it's here to stay... because it didn't. I think it ran like 3 months? Too bad. It seems like it didn't even get a chance. Oh well, It seems like Vegas might be learning a leson about cutting down shows. Lion King and Jersey Boys are full length and are huge hits. But then again, Phantom is 95 minutes and still doing great. Idk. Miss you Hairspray!

the hairspray show in las vegas! they do 4 or five a day so they have to make it shorter!!

I have a question about the Vegas show... I saw in these clips during Maybelle's verse in YCSTB, they were still dancing on the plain white steps, then it cut to a different clip of Amber and Velma in their verse, and they were dancing on the big, elaborate set piece that had all the flip dos and "hairspray" logos. How did they change the set piece so quickly? I don't get it.

haha this is cool, but i have to disagree the show is not better than the one on broadway!

i totally agree with you! the show went much tooo fast for my liking. soo many great songs were cut. but it was still a great production- just could have been better.
