  • i ended up running last friday and i got 2nd place with it..........i wouldve ended up in first im sure but my battery ended up flying on my lap during the demo...... any ideas for strapping the battery down? i used tarp straps and failed on me .... i will put a video up after i run it again this thursday night.... thjanks

  • Sorry, for the delayed response! I put the batteries in a marine battery box and use plumber straps to fasten the box in tight. I use self tapping bolts to fasten plumber strap to body and a long threaded rod with nuts to tighten straps over battery. I also use the black automotive type elastic straps in additive to plumber strap. Works good for me! Sometimes I have to tighten plumber strap after a derby.

  • I ahev a dodge dynasty for a demolition derby car ths year any hints that i could do to make it last any longer? any problems u ran into?

  • Couldn't wait to run a Dynasty, but what a disappointment! The rear end went in the ground fast. I also had a hard time controlling the front end. Removing all the power steering fluid made it easier to handle and prevented future fires like in the video. Only thing I can say is protect that right front corner or you won't last long! If you upload a video after you run your dynasty, please send a link my way! Good luck!
