@krisenr LMAO!

@krisenr Couldn't agree more. Not really something anyone needs but they would be cool as hell just to have. There is no "point" to anyone sticking the red Honda logo on their RSX, but people love to do it anyway. All in fun.

Really the point to this kind of thing is parallel street side parking where you risk having your mirror knocked off by a passing car. If you visit Europe sometime, you may notice that cars that don't have this often have damaged/knocked off side mirrors. They are cool to have and reduce the risk of people damaging your mirrors regardless of where you live.

I actually meant the machine parking spots

Nice! I'm getting folding mirrors done on my Lexus SC as well.

@popdancebeats haha that saves you a couple inches but if someone actually parked that close to you how the fuck would you then open the door.....idk cool but kinda pointless

Do these fold in when the vehicle is turned off, and fold out when the vehicle is initially started?
I'm looking at getting these but if it requires a switch press everytime its pretty much pointless IMO.

I have it wired to fold in/out with the ignition

I don't see the point of folding mirrors. We aren't in japan and american parking spots are HUGE!

There's no "point" to them other than the novelty of them... not usually seen in North America, so its an interesting thing to have (I think)
