i am so glad to see this. i was at 9/1/74 DS and elvis wore the tiger suit. that karate demo was SOMETHIN' ELSE!!! Thank You to the brave soul who taped this.

very sad .. i agree quality of film is great but his movements look like hes half stoned at the beginning ... at about 41 second in he almost falls over.... not laughing at him as i am a fan . consider this footage againsts thats the way it is with his precision movements, no contests. If only he could have pulled homself around. all was not lost at this stage.....

Elvis showing off his newly acquired higher grade black belt skills !! Who else can get away with giving a private karate exhibition?
We are so lucky to be able to see this in good quality. Elvis' crooked manager would not have any shows professionally filmed from '73 to '76 and it was was almost impossible to sneak a camera into the vegas showrooms. So to the person who took the risk and filmed this - a huge thank you. Without you, we would have very little of Elvis in '74. You Rock!

elvis doing karate in vegas 1974.he had just decided to finance the karate movie the new gladiators of course colonnel parker wasnt pleased with elvis thinking independetly so he tried to talk him out of it.cstanchik
