@jamaal1911 You don't have to gamble to understand it lol. Detroit was the favorite by 6.5 points. You get more money if the underdog (which was Miami) wins the game or loses by as many or less points they are projected to lose by. In this case, as long as Miami either won the game or lost by 6 or less, you'd win the money you bet on Miami. Get it?
