Good work Mr Copson: more of your solid arguments the better.

Good job Andrew Copson, clearly Mr Tulley was struggling to win the argument so resorted to emotional ranting.
The last comment that Tulley was trying to get out about the widely held views of Christians' is also nonsense. Just because a lot of people have the same flawed views, doesn't mean they're any more correct. If I get 10 million people to say the moon is made of cheese, then that doesn't make it true either.

Yes Andrew! Very very eloquent. Kept your cool!

What is it with religious spokesmen that prevents them from waiting for the other side to finish what they are saying? Are they so used to never being criticised that they have lost their basic manners regarding conversation?
-
Well done Andrew, you calmly exposed both the lack of logic and the predominance of emotion in the arguments of those who oppose this Bill.
That bearded religiot is really a nutcase. Even if this embryo research would lead to cures for cancer he would not be happy. Who will cure people from cancer, genetic diseases? God, the immam, the rabbi, the pope?

When we do get round to curing these diseases these religious authorities will be quick to give the credit to god for the lives saved and the suffering avoided, yet until we do cure these diseases they'll fight us all the way. Appalling, no?
