RF-602 Triggers Not Working on Canon 580EX II

Trying to figure out why my RF-602 wireless trigger isn't triggering my Canon 580EX II flash. They seem to be triggering each other judging from the indicator LEDs on the transmitter and receivers, but it isn't popping the flash. The batteries are brand new in each. Anyone have an idea what is wrong?

same problem, heard on the strobist flickr forums if you take out the batt. of the receiver or transmitter for 24 hours it will work again, gonna give it a shot and will let you know. Also it said it is not good to leave the batteries in at all times which I always do. :/ Might have to get a new rx as my other one still fires.

@tomklerksnl No, I ended up getting a new receiver from a different ebay seller because the seller I bought this one from wanted me to send this one back to China which would have cost me more than buying a new one. Buyer beware on ebay seller terence_camera. The new receiver I got works great.
