The official opening of the "Syunik-1" hydro power plant in Kashatagh

(Artsakh.tv) -- On 3 January 2011, Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan visited the Shoushi and Kashatagh regions of the republic.

In the outskirts of town of Shoushi the President partook at the ceremony of opening the newly built transformer substation.

The Head of the State subsequently partook at the opening the "Syunik-1" hydro power station in the Aghavno-Melikashen sector of the Kashatagh region and inspected on site the construction activities of the "Syunik-2" hydropower station.

The President noted the importance of those objects for the development of Artsakh energy sphere underlining that activities in this direction would be of a continuous nature.
