Mont Avic: Climbing Val Chalamy

The Mont Avic Natural Park is located in the South-East side of the Region Valle d'Aosta .
Val Chalamy, one of the valley of the Park, is easily reachable from Champdepraz (municipality)going up by car to Chevrère until the small villages of Barbustel, Covarey and Veulla at an altitude of 1300 metres. Verres is the closest motorway exit .
From Veulla paths go up to an area of wonderful alpine lakes and to Rifugio Barbustel at 2200 m. The lakes in this video are on path n. 5c (up) and 5 (down) of the Natural Park map: Lac de Servaz, Lac Blanc, Lac Noir, Lac Cornu, Lac Vallet, Lac de Leser .
A wonderful day in a wonderful uncrowded place. The wish is to come back again for climbing other paths and better explore that territory.

Bel video. Mi ricorda camminate di qualche anno fa: i sentieri 4-5c, 5c-5, e il lungo giro dei laghi 6-5c. L'ultima volta fu l'anno 2003 del gran caldo, quando il lago Gelé era caldo. Allora non facevo foto.

Il monte Avic:la prima montagna che guardo quando arrivo in VdA, e sono nei pressi di Verres ;) la sua forma strana, un pò a cappello di strega, mi affascina molto, posti unici, ad alto impatto emotivo: grazie per il bel video!
