@BubblesSleeps for me its about someone losing a friend to suicide, he tries to talk to them the conversation is difficult you wonder he wonders why he came. he is telling his friend he knows best my guess is his friend was suffering from depression he says where he is going wrong his friend wont listen his friend wouldnt accept his words and he leaves him that night and finds the next day his friend ha took his life - hence i would have stayed up all night had i have known how to save a life.
