@AAProductionsx yah her dad said in an interview one time she may not look very muscular but she is... if she wasnt very muscular then she would not be able to do what she was
-
@AAProductionsx because she is very long and thin so muscle just doesnt show up as much on her... it is more dispersed over her body rather than how shawn johnson is tiny the muscle has no where to go and is compacted. though if you llok closely the muscle definition in her legs is actually quite nice.

@pisarek127 NO

she "owns" the beam, often the hated and hardest nemisis for all gymnasts. watch her on beam, complete confidence. she is amazing. so glad she is Russian (like me) but representing US. She has the technical moves with the grace of a ballerina...that part is all Russian.

this is soo amazing-song and gymnast
-
whats song?
-
@pisarek127 are you russian im not trying to be mean this just seems like a biased comment and just because you were born somewhere doesn't mean for the rest of your life you represent them thats not the way the government works plus if your american she got us the gold medal. ps shes not the only olympian who was born somewhere and represtents the us.

Nastia Liukin is such a great gymnast, she has great lines although she doesn't look very muscular..why is that so if she trains so much..i have a lot more muscle even though i train only 6 hours per week.

@tabbycat123 she started when she was eight, thats what she told our gym when she came and answered questions and to sign autographs

100% Russian So are her Parents , Grandparents. Due to getting her Amercian citizenship makes Her eligeble to compete for United States of America So dont be to happy with her Shes Russian Only competing for USA.

The fact is, she never did gymnastics in Russia. If she had grown up in Russia, the likelihood is her parents would not have opened their own gym, she wouldn't have started gymnastics, we wouldn't even know Nastia existed. Are you saying she should train her whole life in America, get as good as she is partly because of the US national team training regime and then go off and compete for Russia? Because to me that just seems crazy.
