Very nice video! Some great stuff here. This is the only true way to see the country without having to drive. Speaking of that I need to plan more trips on Amtrak. All I ever ride is the regional from to time between BWI and NY Penn station.

Nice video brings back alot of memories. When I was a kid in the early to mid 1980's used to ride it from chicago to flagstaff every year. The superliners were new in phase II and phase III.F-40ph's and alot of ex-santa fe hilevels.Same classic route except Chi-Galesburg and it was called the Southwest Limited back then.

VERY nice! Thanks for sharing this journey! I've never been on Amtrak; I have to confess that I let the media scare me away. But I do love trains.
