Using your location along the route, Transit Navigation will alert you when its time to get off at your destination or to make a transfer. Transit Navigation (Beta) requires a phone with Android 2.1+ and the latest update of Google Maps for mobile.

@drummerkid1993 hope google beats Apple to it first and finds a way to fix the battery issue with wifi and gps. make the phone stay on gps for one whole day at least.

@preet0625 good idea Preet. I am always seeing stuff like Trucks with hazardous materials stay on the 465 loop around Indianapolis instead of taking I-70 straight through town. This would be very helpful to truckers if there was an option to select truck users versus normal civilian traffic.

Would be cool if my battery wouldn't die at the end for having the GPS on for an hour.
