Austin Carter passed away due to a tragic accident in 2008. His parents, together with his sibling, made a decision which impacted the lives of many others - to allow Austin to become an organ and tissue donor. Lori Lyons received one of Austin's kidneys, and later, Lori met Austin's family. They have forged a relationship and together they keep Austin's memory alive, and share the miracle of life that happens thanks to organ and tissue donation.

  • am four years post liver transplant and understandably an advocate for organ donation. Thank you for posting this video, you are doing a great thing. Please take the time to view my video on YouTube as well. It is titled Organ Donation Serge Vaillancourt. Have a long healthy life, and to those of you waiting for an organ. There is hope. Even though statistics are not the greatest you can be, as I was one of the many fortunate one. Never give up hope.

  • Nice work DL FL, thanks for sharing.
