5D Mk II Test Video

I borrowed a Canon EOS 5D Mark II from a friend to shoot a drift event. Having never used such a nice camera, let alone for video, I thought I'd try it out beforehand to practice focus pulls and the general layout of the controls. This made shooting the event sooo much easier. The lens is the stock 50mm F/1.4 and the footage was compressed to Apple ProRes 422 before being edited in FCP 5 and exported to H.264. No color correction was done. All footage is straight from the camera, with the exception of some time remapping to match the song. Speaking of the song, it is Fluff by Black Sabbath. hey i got a simple question. my english is not perfect and i´m not quite sure what exaclty you meant by saying in your desciription of the video: "having never used such a nice camera, LET ALONE FOR VIDEO! did you mean that video is good or bad? please answer ;) did you feel it has been difficult to shoot videos or was it quite easy when you got used to the camera? thanks a lot

@marquessmi What I meant was, this is a DSLR, which I've never used before. It's one thing to take photos with them, but a bit more challenging to get good footage due to the size, weight, controls, etc. The 5D MkII is an incredible camera, it's just not as easy to use as a dedicated video camera. Now that I've gotten used to it, I can handle it alright, but I still feel more comfortable using a video camera. I hope this answered your question.
