Me and mi amigo Max fighting, its round 2 by the way, round 1 is to long to fit on youtube right now.

In round one Max got hit in the neck, haha its great. i mean..im sorry..that i did that..heh..

anywho expect better kendo movies in the future, heh no one can beat james.. i have a match in my mouth.. i should add music to this..stupid imovie..okie bye

*OKIE!!!* READ THIS BEFORE COMMENTING THAT THIS ISNT KENDO OR KUMDO OR WHATEVER!!!********

yes i do know this isnt traditional kendo or kumdo . ive went to kumdo school and trained there but i love free sparring with no limitations. so yes this isn't the kendo with perfected stances and such.

by the way this video is pretty old, i watch this now in disgust how sloppy i was. and yes the person im fighting knows pretty much nothing of kendo and such.

*Anyone in New York City! im looking for people to spar with, or whatever, i need more of a challenge, im in queens ny. anyone looking for a good fight or whatever im me: ilost49clouds

im surprised i got so many comments on this.. so once again I KNOW THIS IS NOT TYPICIAL KENDO AND IT MAY LOOK STUPID BUT IM SURE IN A KENDO FIGHT OR WHATEVER ILL WIN.. not trying to be cocky, i would really enjoy a well earned loss, anywho see ya

  • Hmmm, this looks like Forest Hills, or the Gardens to be more specific? Is that where you shot this?

  • @ElectricChain close, where bayside and whitestone meet.

  • @bartekfin As long as you don't get disarmed, and you're in a position to slash or thrust an opponent, you're holding any sword properly. Learn by the concept, not by the book.

  • It's been YEARS but, you still in Queens? I just moved to NYC myself. I'm a beginner, but I'd still be into sparring if your around.

  • i havent done any of this for years, fun stuff. their form is bad yeah, but their just havein fun. dont knock them for just havein fun, wtf? good fight, but hold the sword wit both hands you'll have better angles and wont swing the sword wild leavein opens
