how come hes not in thee hall of fame? hes just like dick butkus and jack lambert.

Mad Dog and Butkus were two of the great MLB's of the 60's and 70's. I'm not a Colts fan, but he needs to be in the HOF.

I guess Mike might have a problem with the 5-yd contact rule on receivers, not to mention the new "defenseless receiver" concept. I wish someone would interview these guys and let them blast all this candy-ass rule changing that's gone on since the late '70s. The rule changes were done for one primary reason: increase passing and scoring even if done at the expense of the game's integrity. Otherwise, only hardcore fans will watch and NFL will miss profits from less defensive oriented fans.

Ball landed in ref's hands after Curtis killed the fan LOL

Ndomakong..Suh got a $20,000 fine for a hit on Bengals qb Dalton that wasn't even close to how vicious 90% of Curtis' tackles were..man how pussified the NFL has become?

We just posted an article about Mike Curtis on myhofs.com

While the NFL star players try to grab more money from the owners and the owners try to grab more from the fans I like to think of the players who made the league what it is today. Mike Curtis is one of them. He disliked the union in his playing days and this is why he has been blacklisted from the HOF.

2:30 might be the greatest moment in NFL history

Mike Curtis was a Fuckin Beast

Love this guy, he played football the way it should be played.....violent and destructive and left his heart out on the field!! Wish guys today played like that.

Mike Curtis was as tough as nails. He should be in the HOF. Does anybody remember Steve Stonebreaker? He was another beast.

A pioneer of the intense mind set that some players later brought into the game. I've seen em all and Mike Curtis should be in the Hall of Fame. Big, smart, quick, and brutal but with no bullshit like most of today's trash talkin', money hoggin, cry babies, whose head sizes are only exceeded by the size of their paychecks.
He played for the Seahawks in '76

I remember Mike Curtis, I grew up a Colts fan in Baltimore as a kid. Curtis was one tough customer like they say. He broke his forearm one year and the rest of the league heaced a sigh of relief. The next week he suited up with his arm in a cast, and he used the cast as a bludgeon, slammin' runners upside the head or in the throat. He was actually even more dangerous. He didn't tackle opponents, he destroyed them.
