With all do respect, this just shows how STUPID the world can be. All the countries that go to war care only for bad things. They risk their lives, their country, their people, for power and money. Shame on you all.

@empirerex5 Pretty much no historians still believe that. Hell, *this film* makes the point that the only reason the Japanese fought as hard as they did on the islands is because they had no idea of either what they were up against, or how their own war machine was already completely shattered. Had the Americans shown up in force on Japan itself, it would have been a repeat of Manchuria: Japanese soldiers threw down their guns and ran without even engaging the Soviets.

The Japanese side was worse than the Americans side of the battle. Japan Germany aren't the only ones to commit war crimes in WW2.

@xXxNaturalForcexXx Had we simply invaded Japan, instead of nuking them at Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the death toll would have been even higher. It was estimated that the U.S. would have lost around 1 million troops, the losses on the japanese side would have been even higher. Believe it or not it was in the best interest of the Japanese culture and people that we nuked them; U.S. wins the war, Japan losses the war and saves itself from complete destruction.

Think about it a little. if you are the "good guys" then why did you go and kill innocent civilians?? did it make you guys feel so much honorable and proud of yourself?

And if you are gonna take the "they attacked us at Pearl Harbor" card up, don't waste your time with it... when the other side looses only half a hundred civilians, it's fair for the others to lose hundred thousands and more civilians?
