  • @OSDCrusher Give the treatment a shot. Use it in all three, brake booster, oil and gas tank. You will need 2-3 bottles (depending on how full your gas tank is) and do not put it in your oil until you have a oil change coming up within a few hundred KM.

Let me know if it helps, I'd be interested to hear if your problems go away.

  • @lucky644 Funny you mention idling issues and trouble revving up. It just recently developed those issues. When you cold start it, it will run rough til warmed up some, then it is fine until you rev it. When you rev it, it will bog down and almost die.

  • @OSDCrusher I doubt it, mine has 180,000km on it and runs perfectly.

Unless you're having idling issues, or it has difficulty revving up, it's probably fine.

However, it's likely a great form of preventive maintenance. You could probably toss some in your oil and in your gas tank every now and then to keep things running clean.

I put some in my gas tank whenever I think about it, and some in my oil before a oilchange.

  • @lucky644 Ok, thanks for responding. I just picked up a 1993 Chevy K1500 and it only has 91,000 miles on it so I was wondering if this would benefit in any way. Never tried Seafoam before.

  • @OSDCrusher 500KM, then I changed the oil.

I didn't particularly notice a difference because the engine doesn't have many KM's on it and runs very smooth, still runs great today.

However, I did the same thing on a friends 1985 buick, which was idling horribly and using seafoam smoothed it right out. We were both impressed.

  • Did you notice any difference after using the Seafoam? Also, after you used it, how long did you wait until you changed the oil in the truck?

  • @josh666675 if you let the truck die you risk letting it hydrolock itself, your suppose to go threw the brake boost, then the crank case for best results

  • No i was on ipod touch didn't show second one to choose. Also The truck usually turns its self off. when it is fully loaded.
