Minor Threat is pure hardcore. Seriously, I challenge you to find a band that played music that was truer to the essence of hardcore punk than these guys. With this 7", Ian MacKaye made a name for himself as one of the flag bearers of the hardcore punk movement. While MacKaye would go on to greater heights with Fugazi, the ferocity of this EP makes early Black Flag seem like wimps in comparison. Unfortunately, the band would never match the power of this EP (though Out of Step is better).
Minor Threat is:
Ian MacKaye - vocals
Lyle Preslar - guitar
Brian Baker - bass guitar
Jeff Nelson - drums

@Cobracmd88 The Germs? SxE? No, not at all. They were great, though.
