While your driving down the highway, sometimes the most unexpected trains arise. I saw this train while I was in the car, so I grabbed my camera and got some film of it. It's the San Joaquin Valley local that runs on the Buttonwillow Branch Line. The engines were Rail America 3806 with a Minnesota Valley RR patch and then the CEFX 3029. Hope you enjoy! • A friend and I caught the Buttonwillow Local in 2005, through not on video. What day of the week was this? ***** PSH

  • I can't remember. Someday during summer.

  • wow, that's awesome! good thing about you that you are not only filming UP and Amtrak but also filming locals. 5*****

  • haha This was just luck. Besides the only reason I film UP and Amtrak is because that's all we get in nor-cal.

  • Wow they have horn cages on those units?

  • Notice: 3029 is Ex-D&RGW 3029 and 3806 is Ex-PC 7755
