@radiopete Yeah... it was "Clownin" when black folks did it, and "musical comedy" when white folks did it...
-
I get to sing this in my Jazz band with all my friends, but it's gonna be nothing compared to Louis Jordan.
-
Joe Jackson did a nice rendition of this..

JACK YOU'RE DEAD

"Jack you dead!"

Louis Jordan makes 'cool' look dull, thats how cool he was. The man was a musical genius.
-
It was PERFECT for my dads funeral.
He wouldn't have wanted everyone to be all morose and miserable at all!
-
@jmacbops HAHAHAHAHAHAHA HE AND HIS BAND THE TYMPANI FIVE PAVED THE WAY FOR ALL ROCK AND R&B BANDS THAT CAME AFTER THEM TYMPANI FIVE 4EVER!!!!!!!!!!

@brianab31 Alto is not better than Tenor and Tenor is not better than Alto. It's completely different. Nothing to compare.
-
@Fatherscouse Alto is my favorite! Many others say that tenor is the best. I have to disagree.
If Jordan's music don't move you,
There's nothing to be said.
Better call the undertaker, 'cause
Jack, you're dead.
