  • This is truly the most aesthetic piece I've ever heard by the late Mr. Atkins, although I love all his work. Thank You.

  • Thank-you for the kind words. I've been putting my heart into these.

  • Tommy Emmanuel told me that he liked Chet newest material, and I cannot do anyhting but agree. Sails is beautiful. Good hearing it again. It have it on vinyl.

  • It's a tune that you can get totally lost in.

  • strange, the rating doesn´t show...

  • I have no idea why.

  • Hi people, i like Chet Atkins, but what you say about my sound track with sails, its name on youtube - white sails

  • 'Up In My Treehouse' is one of my favorites off of that LP. The whole thing is a masterpiece. I listen to it regularly. It is great cruisin music for a hot summer's day...or for any season.

  • a beautiful instrumental from the country gentleman, one of my recently passed mothers favorites, thanks deeply for posting.

  • God bless you Chester Burton Atkins :)

  • This is such a pretty melody......so simple......so pure.......and not easily learned. Thanks Doug, and now I'm going to listen to it again......

  • what a beautiful song. Thanks Doug.

  • It's a beautiful melody indeed, and I love it! Many times this wonderful guitarist has brought tears to my eyes with his lovely versions of contemporary or classic tunes. A guitar genius par excellence. Thanks a lot for posting!

    John

  • Ya this is a beautiful song written by John Hall a hippie rocker from the 1970s. He is now a Congressman from the state of New York. Go figure, This is an instrumental version. Look for Chet Atkins /Steve Wariners version. It's even nicer.

  • Thanks for this beautiful, healing, music. Chet you are missed but your music lives on.
