Haha. Yeah! Just fought this boss today. Seriously dude, when I entered the area, I knew that there was going to be a boss because of the wide open space so I waited for a while. Then nothing happened so I decided to scout the area.I went up a hill of some sort then I saw a big blimp on the HUD. I turned around and then I was like WTF!!! Man, it was AWESOME!

the salamander boss is an actual creature that lives in Japan called "the giant salamander" although its not anything compared to the one in lost planet in size, it still looks very similiar
