The 25 children in grades one to four at the Starfish Country Home School in Maetaeng (and one older resident girl who goes to a local Thai school) did several performances of Mulan as a ballet. The choreography, music selection, costumes and scenery were all done under the direction of Arsama Tamee, a Lisu staff member. One of the performances was done as a benefit for the local handicapped center. All 150 tickets were sold and about US$600 was raised. The one-hour plus performance was the highlight of our artistic year.
