Taking a head start to create a low carbon world economy

In its response to the global warning against global warming the EU proposes to cut its CO2 emissions by 20% by 2020. We know how to do it and the EU can afford to do it: cleaner technologies, carbon emissions trading and boosting renewable energies. In its proposal the EU sets out how much each country in the EU will have to do according to its financial ability. The measures will foster innovation, create new jobs in new technologies, strengthen EU's energy security and provide a competitive advantage for its industries.

I think the best way to reduce carbon emissions in the west is to have an immigration moratorium. Statistics clearly show the USA population grew by 100 million in the last 40 years and nearly all the growth was due to immigration.

The west could drasically reduce carbon emissions with a reduction in immigration and population and would have nearly stable growth in the USA with a moratorium on immigration.

Air Recycling Technology if used in Vacuum Cleaners could save annually in the UK, an amount of energy equal to that generated by 800 Medium sized wind generators.

This is based on tests made for the DTI and MTP.

That is 1.5 TWh of electricity worth £225 million and 650,000 Tonnes of CO2. And a saving of more than 25 Twh of electricity annually is possible in the EU. Equal to £3.25 Billion pounds and 13.5 million tonnes of CO2 emission.

It is still waiting for Government help.
