Strength-Project.com -- I'm not a long jumper, I just long flip for fun. The pit is 20 ft long I think so you do the math. Just working on my front flip long jump... Short run up

  • That technique isnt new, some russian guy did it in the 80s but it got banned cause he fell and broke his neck

  • basically. you're 10 feet away from where you're about to take off from, you're taking off two footed, and you think that a banned technique is new.

  • @dontbacksassjesus I did that too!!! During practice! I measured 14 ft something! Sadly my normal long jump isn't far. :( 18'10" 3/4.

  • U scratched big time lol

  • You scratched

  • Nice!

  • @dontbacksassjesus Actually, no one broke their neck. I used the technique from Jan to May of '74. These guys are using two feet but the original technique uses one foot on the board. The other knee drives forward and upward, very similar to the standard technique. The tricky part is next. What I did then, was to start to duck my head when I thought is was the right moment. Once my hips were parallel to my shoulders, I brought up the other leg into the tuck. The rest comes automatically.

  • lol not bad

  • lol that's like a 12 foot jump. Keep it up man, it's working great!

  • actually not tat far.. tats only like wat 4-5m.. i rekon he'll get further with just a normal jump
