@Elleroth The irony is that WC4's graphics were state of the art when it was released, not unlike Crysis nowadays. It required a pentium to run at acceptable framerates, and a whopping Intel Pentium I 120 Mhz to run full framerate with SVGA. That was some outrageous machine specs in 1996.

Yeah, the production value in WC4 is fantastic. And games nowadays are somehow even MORE expensive and still manage to suck in comparison? I wonder what they spend their fundings on..

Melek and the Kilrathi look so much better in Wing Commander IV with the new make-up, costumes and design. Geez! It's the cats! Although to me they look like a combination of evolutionary feinoid species: lions, tigers, pumas, linx and panthers.
