Virtuoso Steve Vai, who has some downloads for the game Guitar Hero and recently released his new CD-DVD set Where The Wild Things Are, said he's a fan of the game and encourages gamers to take the next step.

God, I love Steve Vai. I will NEVER ever reach his virtuoso abilities but man he sure inspires me to continue reaching for it.

I never understood why kids would spend hours upon hours and try to master guitar hero but not once would think to take that same amount of time and play the real thing. Just for an experiment, bring you're plastic Guitar controller and bring someone who knows how to play the real thing to a party and take a poll at the end of said party to see who's cooler. I know who my moneys on and I know who's getting some.

LOLZ... I love this guy! =D And.. I know people who PERFECTTT Thought The Fire And Flames by Dragonforce on Guitar Hero on Expert (Most ppl can't. WAY to hard) andd I heard him bragging to some girls that he's so good at guitar.. I got my guitar, turned it up loud so they couldn't ignore me.. Impressed them with some sweeping and tapping.. That dude couldn't do anything.. Failed. :) Trying barre chords in E standard (LOL!) and tried tapping.. It was so funny. But guess who got a girl that day?

@GuitarsUnite Michael Angelo Batio, Trivium, Arch Enemy... Some of the BESTTTTTT (Steve Vai as well.. Arch Enemy is iffy... But I love em!!).. Michael Angelo is solo... I think he just uses drum tracks and plays AMAZING lead =D
