I'll never, ever forget Kent State & the Bonus marchers. They are shameful parts of American history.

It is so good to be reminded that history is made up of individual people, in this case, a young woman who was raised like the rest of us in those days. She stood up for peace and paid the ultimate price. She was loved, and loved others. What a lovely tribute!

I became a Truther due to all this. Right at Kent State, where I was a student from '75 to '77. On a merit scholarship in my second year, with the art dept. I dropped out in '77 in protest over the tent city issue. This all changed me. Few understand. You do. I even used the journalism name LISA LA PROVA starting in 1978. That is Italian for THE TRUTH.

She lives on to "Teach All Children" about Peace and Love...
Excellent tribute.....beautiful reflective music. I googled her birth date and found that Allison was born in 1951. I was born in 1948. I was in college at the same time, and I remember this tragedy, this crime very vividly. She would have been 59 this year...what a lot of life she missed. Thank you for posting this tribute to political activism.

Full of love and sunshine
Thinking about you all the time
A generous, smart girl
You were too beautiful for this world
