I get quite a few emails from people wanting a closer look at my pulsejet-powered Bobcat 52 ARF RC model plane so here's something for those who'd like to see what changes I've made and how the model is set up.

  • does it use a fuel pump to supply the fuel?

  • @nitrojoe9 Not with this engine. It uses a self-pressurizing fuel system that operates from a tap on the combustion chamber.

  • thats cool, have you flown it?

i would love to see that speeding

  • Yes, check out the other vids on my channel. I was having problems with getting enough air to the engine but I think/hope that's fixed now so the next flight should be much faster.

  • Great setup,so how much flying time will you get out of the two tanks ?? 5*

  • I'm hoping for about 3-4 minutes

  • ALOOMEENEEUM?

  • @xjet cool. ive been planning to make a simple engine of my own and strap it to an rc car! it will be very small, but will hopefully be powerful enough to move a very small rc car. it will be a valveless system so speed control will be brakes lol

  • Great work, I've been following you for a while now. I think you must be one of the formost experts on these pulsejet RC'S now. I've really learned a lot just watching all your trials...I feel like I need to pay you for tuition, hehe. I'm gonna buy my 1st ducted jet to practice on later this year. I want to get proficient before moving to the real thing. Plus, you will have them perfected by then :)

  • the wending is fine if it dosnt explode it all good

  • what does it run off?

  • schweet............ get her up there.
