The guitar I am playing on this is a Ibanez EX series with a GFS Dream 90 P-90 in the bridge. I am using the noisegate on my ART ECC to quiet the single coils.
The listing for this amp is here http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQfgtpZ1QQfrppZ25QQsassZqbidmusicandmore
qbidmusicandmore has this is Awesome Laney TT50-112 50W 1x12 Tube Guitar Combo Amp for sale on Ebay. The only thing that separates this from a New Laney TT50 is a couple of small tolex tears, some scuffing on the handle, & a few of the numbers on the controls are rubbed off. It is made in the United Kingdom. The Laney TT50-112 is a 50-watt combo tube amplifier for your guitar that features a completely redesigned pre-amp. Three channels—Clean, Crunch, and Lead—each feature independent 3-band EQ, volume, bright switch, and reverb. The 2 gain channels feature a Modern switch which gives you super smooth response while the Lead channel features an additional Xpand and boost switch. Xpand breathes life back into your tone at high gain.
The power section features two independent footswitchable master volumes, allowing you to give yourself a boost whatever channel you are on, great for the clean lead breaks.__All footswitchable features are fully MIDI switchable and each amp is equipped with MIDI in, MIDI thru, and MIDI out seven-pin connections which support phantom power. The onboard MIDI can be used to switch external MIDI devices via the dedicated FS6 footswitch.
This amp sounds awesome. There is a video below so you can hear what it sounds like, but my playing just doesn't do it justice. We do NOT have the original footswitch to this amp. We are including a MIDI footswitch this a a Yamaha MFC06 foot controller. I was told that it did with this amp. I can't get it to work, but I think that's just because I do not know anything about MIDI. If you are interested in getting the original footswitch they are available online for like $250.

  • Hey man nice playing and sweet tone. Can you tell me a little bit about the Art ECC as far as effects, sounds and overall is it worth buying used? Thanks man.

  • @38decembers Honestly man, I think this is the only time I ever used it. I just needed a noisegate for the video and it was the only thing I had available with a noisegate.

  • @38decembers I would agree with the guys own comments, his playing doesn't really do the amp justice and falls far short of showing the diversity. P90's probably aren't the best pickup to demo the amp either :(

  • I'll stick to my Seymour Duncan P Rails - superb pick up variations and tones

  • why does every one who plays one of these things on youtube wear there guitar up to their neck???

just wondering its kinda wierd how all of the videos i've seen on this "Laney Amp" all share that in common...

  • all of my guitars have gfs pickups in them and i am quite happy with the sound and quality.

  • The amp doesn't normally send any voltage through the cable (though some have made phantom power modifications for active pickup systems), so no.

  • You can blow your audio output transistors/or tubes as the case may be. but you gotta really try to blow some tubes. I use a special kind of cable from Stagg that mutes the signal automatically when you plug it in.

  • lol hellyeah:D pwnd

  • hell no, how could you ? :D you cant damage your guitar that way, maybe by smashing it to the floor
