Mel Gibson: Braveheart

This is the one that really took Mel Gibson to a another level...The star/director of a film that was huge on any scale of measurement. He hit the ball way out of the park. A classic film! Braveheart. Sort of a Scottish Rocky! Beautiful film from all departments and went on to route the Academy Awards.....Mel deserved all the honors he got....

great actor and director i heard rumors he may do something with the vikings... but being english myself well, if you know the history yet again it will be english is the shit! or english being the heroes, the vikings raided england so much back in the day.., they raided this school in england once, killed the monks and drowned them and took any treasures they could find

Braveheart is one of the best films of the 90s. Mel Gibson is a genius. Also, as it turns out, a real goof on set. Some of the outtakes are hilarious.

The Gibson might be a little of kilter, but he can make a HELL of a movie. Braveheart was a powerful film..I never watched the "jesus" movie, I probably won't either. But Apocalypto was one of my favorites of ALL time. Way to go MEL!
