The M5 has a pull strength of 350+ pounds. This of course is tested by how all other magnets are, by using a decent sized piece of steel. The M5, for it's size, it the most powerful PK magnet out there.

thats pretty nice, i know the m5 was wayyyy too expesive for what it is. how would you go about making one of these?

It didn't hurt that phone. But I did accidentally come within a foot of my zune, they attahed, end of my zune. Really, I am using a 110lb. pull magnet. Much stronger/cheaper than an M5, this one cost $12, and took 1/2 hour to make.
amazing, even though you didn't make this that performance was incredible, i'm subscribing

@136arj
Yeah the effect is pretty obvious, once you own a magnet that powerful. I think that is what you meant by "make this", even though it is not an M5, it is a wind turbine magnet. I am the one in the video if that was what you are implying though. Thanks for the sub!! Later.

I have trouble seeing the practicality of a 300lb. magnet. At 110lbs. I can barely even bring these magnets out. They come within a foot of anything electrical, and things start acting wierd.
