  • I am English but I do not see it as "us" verses "them" as so many of you seem to do. We are all human beings and deserve to be shown mutual respect regardless of religious ideals, race etc Also all this "If we didn't save your ass in world war 2" Unless you fought in that war you didn't do shit. Don't take credit for the accomplishments of the dead because you were born onto a piece of rock floating in the sea through no choice of your own. The loss of life for any reason is a terrible thing.

  • My Mothers family in Scotland +my Very English wife's family all fought in the brit army +navy, and they all believed this was murder. I'm inclined to agree with them. No need to get you're vagina out of whack, over the fact those "soldiers" were murderous scum. So take your Valium, and have a nap,Peaches.

  • Paratroopers should never have been used in these situations. The government of that day was so stupid, weak and pathetic

  • those 'paras' who did the killings that day are free to live the rest off their lives in peace where as the innocent people killed that day never saw the light of day again. its well known who pulled the triggers that day and who their superiors were that day. why 40 years later has there been no justice?

  • the british have always traditionally been known as a country that is selfish and dominating, hence the british empire where they took over 1/4 of the worlds territory. most of that dominance is over now, except for the case of Ireland. British presence in Ireland is, and always has been, an unjustified foreign occupation.

  • @redsuncartel this actually makes some sense if you are English but obivously feelings are much more deep rooted and it is more complicated.

  • Saddest day in history

  • This Wilford geezer is the most spineless bastard going. CO of para reg takes responsability.

The worst possible advert for Para reg officers

  • @southparkfan2717 ,yeh, mebbe you should mention you supplied the nazis as well.

  • @southparkfan2717 germany Did have the naval capability, it just knew that if it launched an invasion the airforce would have slaughtered them along with the navy. germany knew it needed to control the skies to have any change of a sucessful invasion. if we had lost the battle of britain europe and africa would be under Axis control.
