Sunderland trams were very rare in having overhead pantograph-type collectors, rather than the usual poles.

I remember seeing these trams as a small boy. Sunderland was so different then and for the better I think.

What a proud and booming place sunderland used to be, it's current form saddens me.
Sunderland first wants to restablish sunderland to its former glory.
