2007 Amateur Radio Special Events Station operated from the Mighty 8th Air Force Museum by Scouts from the Coastal Empire Council, Savannah, GA Georgia
We are doing the same for our scout troop but we are using CB radios.
The scouts have really enjoyed the CB's and many of them have requested to have one installed at their homes to talk to other scouts when we are not together .
nice to see that jota is still going strong even with the net and Instant Messaging etc, its still athrill to hear someone talking to you from across the seas.
