Divide and Conquer. The seductions and penalties to opt in and play the game are great with the accompanying psychology of rationalizations when times are good. I think it will likely take complete collapse for people to let go of the interest based money game.

The Zeitgeist movement skips over a whole area of monetary reformers and money reinvention.Money does not have to be issued as an interest bearing debt.The technique can be changed.This indeed could be a necessary transitional stage to a resource based economy.

A little sad that we don't actually hear the direct feed coming from the microphone, but hear some mic placed in the audience or something. Weird, to say the least, knowing that Ben would not have wanted anything more than offer a direct feed.
