The Oktoberfest is one of the most famous events that occurs each and every year in Munich, Germany. This festival starts late September and spreads into early October (hence the name), it generally will last 16 days in total but there are variables that will make the event last a few days longer. For example, Oktoberfest generally ends on the first Sunday in October runs 16 days prior. It was then later modified due to the German reunification so that if the first Sunday falls on the 1st or 2nd October the festival will run for another day making the festival 17 and 18 days long respectively.
